100% OUTPUT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE                                        FINAL YEAR PROJECTS ON CAPSENSE / TOUCH SENSE

100% PRACTICAL TRAINING ON ALL DOMAINS

TECHNOLOGY : EMBEDDED (ATMEL/PIC/ARM/RENASAS/CYPRESS)

               Capsense

  • When the finger is tapped on a surface the motion of the finger is detected and the same is used as trigger signal to perform specific function which is pre-programmed in a microcontroller
  • Cypress’ PSoC is an extremely versatile system-on-chip device
  • PSoC is capacitive sensing. PSoC is able to detect the presence
  • Of a finger through glass, plastic, acrylic or many other non-metallic materials, using a simple PCB trace as the sensor
  • Many of the most popular devices on the market today have a PSoC capacitive sense interface
  • For capacitive sensing, the capacitor is a PCB pad and trace, whose capacitance is altered by the presence of conductive object such as a finger. As the capacitance varies, so does the rate at which the oscillator charges

               Applications

Computer peripherals, iPhones, Matrix keys, Keys, Sliders-volume control, touch-handicap, Satellite navigation, Mobile phones, Video games.
